Motorola has finally unveiled the much-awaited Moto G4 Plus along with the Moto G4 in India. The Moto G4 Plus will be available on Amazon India starting 12:00 a.m on Wednesday, while the Moto G4 will be launched next month.
The Moto G4 Plus comes in two variants – one with a 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 13,499, and the other with 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. Going by the price, it is obvious that the device will have to compete with devices like the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and OnePlus X in Indian market.

Display
Both the Moto G4 Plus and Galaxy J7 (2016) sport a 5.5-inch display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), while the OnePlus X sports a smaller 5-inch screen with 1,080x1920 pixels (441 ppi pixel density).
Processor
The Moto G4 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, while the Galaxy J7 (2016) has a Exynos 1.6Ghz octa-core processor, and the OnePlus X has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
Operating system
The Moto G4 Plus runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system while the OnePlus X runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The Galaxy J7 (2016) that was released in China runs Android 5.1 Lollipop but the ones that are launched in the U.S. and a few regions in South Korea have Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) and OnePlus X come packed with a 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card) and a 3GB RAM. On the other hand, the Moto G4 Plus comes packed with a 16/32GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card) and a 2/3GB RAM.
Camera
The Moto G4 Plus houses a 16MP camera with OmniVision Pure Cel Plus sensor, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and dual-LED flash, and a 5MP camera with wide-angle lens. The Galaxy J7 (2016) has a 13MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash and a 5MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture, while the OnePlus X comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1/3" sensor size and 1.14 µm pixel size features, and an 8MP front-snapper with f/2.4 aperture.
Battery
The Moto G4 Plus is powered by a 3,000mAh with Turbo charger feature that enables the phone to run for six hours with just 15 minutes of charging. On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 (2016) has a 3,300mAh battery, and the OnePlus X has a 2,525mAh battery.
In terms of display, the devices are almost even with two having bigger screen size and the other a sharper display. The Moto G4 Plus has a slight edge with more storage and camera pixel, while the OnePlus X has a powerful processor and the Galaxy J7 (2016) has bigger battery.
