4:00 p.m. IST: The company general manager Amit Boni announces that the Moto G4 Plus will be made available in two variants 2GB RAM+ 16GB storage and 3GB RAM +32GB storage configuration for Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 14,999, respectively via Amazon India later tonight. On the other hand, the Moto G (4th gen)'s price and sale details will be announced in June.
3:45 p.m. IST: The company has just revealed that the generic model the Moto G (4th gen) will feature same design language and almost all specifications found in the Moto G4 Plus, but differ in two aspects. It will have 13MP camera on the back and will not house fingerprint sensor on the home button.
3:41 p.m. IST: Allison Yi reveals that the Moto G (4th gen) and the Moto G4 Plus will come with same 3,000mAh battery, which can last a whole day under mixed usage. They will also come with Turbo charger, where in 15 minutes of charging can make the phone run for 6 hours. They will be powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 617 octa-core CPU with 3GB/2GB RAM.

In about a few minutes, Lenovo-owned Motorola will kick off the launch event in New Delhi, where the fourth generation Moto G4 series is most likely to get unveiled.
From what we have gathered so far, the company is expected to pull the wraps off not one but two devices — a generic Moto G4 and a top-end one, dubbed the Moto G4 Plus.
