After a brief break, Motorola's official e-commerce seller Flipkart has reportedly resumed the sales of the American company's best-selling smartphone Moto G in India.
Moto G sales restarted on Sunday afternoon around 12:30 IST, reported technology website AndroidOS.in. Though there is no official word yet on why the sales of the in-demand phone was stopped in the first place, the most likely reason points towards reports of network failure issue plaguing Moto G units (IMEI series - 3533).
Owners, who recently bought Moto G, had complained of not being able to activate their device. The company acknowledged the problem was related to non-registration of IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) in the network carrier's database.
Motorola was quick to rectify the problem; the company fixed the issue in smartphones with IMEI series '3533', and asked other model owners facing the same glitch to head to authorized services and get their smartphones tested or call customer service (1800-102-2344). The new Moto G units (8GB and 16GB) are made available at Flipkart (at the time of reporting) and are understood to be free of problems.

As earlier stated, Moto G is the best-selling smartphone in Motorola's history and, according to AndroidOS.in's estimation, the company has sold more than half million (500,000 plus) units in India alone since its release mid-February.
In related news, Moto G's cheaper sibling Moto E has also become a huge hit with the Indian public. Many are finding it hard to get their hands on the feature-rich budget phone as the device is flying off the shelves like hot cakes on Flipkart. The e-commerce vendor re-launched Moto E five times in the past month (since 14 May) but the units were sold out within hours of release each time.
