Motorola, the maker of Moto360 smartwatch, has rolled out a new software update for this Android wearable device.
The new update can turn off the ambient mode automatically and can improve the battery life by 15%. This new update will also be able to synchronise the smartwatch's time with the connected phone automatically.
Motorola has also introduced a new gesture to see the full watch screen without permanently dismissing a notification. For doing that you just need to touch the top of a notification and swipe it down. This gesture will show you the notification again when you have another high priority notification. This way, the user will also be able to use the smartwatch as an elegant watch.
Motot 360 adjusts the brightness according to the lighting condition to give an ambient viewing experience. It also connects bluetooth headsets with the watch using some under-the-hood enhancements.
Motorola mentions that the update will be rolled out in separate phases and each time the watch will be able to notify you. For installing these over-the-air updates all you need to do is connect the smartwatch with an internet connection. Make sure the watch has atleast 80% of battery life to complete the installation successfully.
Motorola says that this new update has several bug removal applications to give the user better experience than ever before.
