A mother and a daughter used weed killer to make a 100 yard giant outline of male genitalia on the football field of Monroe County's High School in New York.
According to the County's Sheriff's Office, a 50-year-old woman, her 16-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old male are being questioned in the case, reports the Mirror. The trio has been interrogated for burning up 330 foot penis on a playground at Bedford High School.
The district officials are furious as they were forced to relocate all the football games and the damage has cost around $10,000, reported Detroit Free Press.
"It's ridiculous. I'm sure the individuals involved probably had no idea the impact, but it's just absolutely ridiculous," said Kleinhans.
Along with creating giant penis using weed killer, two similar 30-foot depictions were also made and '2016' was inscribed in the same manner, according to the Blaze.
Apparently, the actual reason has not come out yet, but the trio could have gotten the idea from a prank at some other school, reports DFP.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the people responsible for the incident could face criminal charges and the mother could be taken into custody for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
"We are going to prosecute to the full extent of the law," Kleinhans said. "This isn't a little prank misdemeanour. This is a felony."
The DFP also reported that Kleinhans wanted all parents to take a note of the incident.
"Parents need to talk to their kids about what they see on the Internet and what they're choosing to do," he said.
He further says that children want to mimic what they see on the Internet, so parents should keep an eye on them, else it could cost someone "really big".
