Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have been voted India's most wanted bachelor and bachelorette respectively, according to a survey conducted by an Indian matrimonial website.
Interestingly, the duo was in a relationship until they parted ways a few years ago. A poll conducted by Shaadi.com earlier this year revealed that most Indians think Deepika is the best match for Ranbir.
According to the latest survey by the site with a sample of over 7,000 men and women in the age group of 24-30, Ranbir Kapoor was voted India's most wanted celebrity, getting 31.4 percent vote. He was followed by Salman Khan with 25.6 percent votes, politician Rahul Gandhi with 21.98 percent and cricketer Virat Kohli with 21.02 percent.
The 31-year-old actor is one of the most-demanded actors in Bollywood following the stupendous success of his films like "Rockstar", "Barfi!" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani". Even though his latest release, "Besharam" bombed at the box office, he has "Roy", "Bombay Velvet" in the offing. He has also revealed that he is doing a superhero movie to be directed by his director-friend Ayan Mukherjee.
Deepika Padukone tops the list of India's most wanted bachelorette with 32.02 percent votes. She was followed by Katrina Kaif with 29.76 percent, Anushka Sharma with 20.14 and Priyanka Chopra with 18.08 percent votes.
According to the survey by the site, actor Hrithik Roshan was voted the most wanted celebrity husband with 29.11 percent votes, followed by Shah Rukh Khan with 27.4 percent, Sachin Tendulkar with 23.31 percent and Amitabh Bachchan with 20.18 percent votes. Former Miss World turned actress and wife of Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been voted the most favourite celebrity wife, getting 31.4 percent votes.
