Apple has revealed the list of its 2017 charts and trends as the year is coming to an end in a few weeks. It is to celebrate the most popular music, movies and apps across the App Store, Apple Music and iTunes.
"The Humma Song" tops the chart on Apple Music. Composed by Academy Award and Grammy Award winner AR Rahman, the foot tapping song is from the movie "OK Jaanu" featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. It is sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Shashaa Tirupati.

"Shape of You" by English singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer Ed Sheeran is in the second position. The song is one of the four singles from the album ÷ (read as "divide") which was released in March 2017.
Music composer Pritam's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" is the top album of the year. It earned Pritam Best Music Director award at the 62nd Filmfare Awards, while Arijit Singh won the Best Playback Singer Award and Amitabh Bhattacharya won Best Lyricist Award. Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played the lead roles in this movie directed by Karan Johar.
According to the list (iTunes Movies) published by Apple, "Dear Zindagi" is the top movie of the year. The movie directed by Gauri Shinde has Alia Bhatt in the lead role, and Shahrukh Khan, Kunal Kapoor and Ali Zafar in supporting roles.
Clint Eastwood's "Sully" starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney is in the second position, followed by "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi)" directed by S S Rajamouli and featuring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in lead roles.
The Cupertino giant has also listed Enlight Videoleap as the iPhone App of the Year, Affinity Photo -- iPad App of the Year, Splitter Critters -- iPhone Game of the Year, and Old Man's Journey -- iPad Game of the Year.
The company said that four breakout trends in app culture were identified in 2017, and they are introduction of AR (augmented reality) apps and games, the rise of real-time competitive gaming and apps enabling photo and video editing.
