That time of the year when people have fun by dressing up as monsters, ghosts or witches has come - Halloween. 2012 has witnessed performers with some of the most horrifying Halloween costumes.
Halloween is an annual celebration observed in many countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows or All Saints' Day.

Halloween Horror Party 2012, which was held at the Movie Park Germany on October 18, was truly a horrifying one with performers seen with some of the most gruesome Halloween costumes seen till date.
Hugh Hefner's annual Halloween party at Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles on October 27, was glamorous as usual, and celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris, Kelsey Grammer and Paris Hilton garced the party this year.
American actor Kelsey Grammer and wife Kayte Walsh raised many eyebrows by bringing their three-and-a-half-month-old daughter Faith to the Playboy Halloween party last weekend, as it's not a place for the kids.
However, Grammer reasoned that they brought their infant daughter to the party as they don't have a nanny.
"Kayte is breast-feeding and we do not have a nanny or a trusted babysitter at this time, so Faith goes everywhere with us," Grammer said in a statement to E! News. "We enjoyed the party with a few of our friends, the baby slept as her ears were covered the entire time and we left shortly after midnight."
Google Doodle on Halloween
Google celebrates Halloween on Wednesday with a Google Doodle featuring a haunted mansion with number 13, a creepy creature, a crow on the terrace and carved pumpkins all around.
On clicking the first door of the mansion, a one-eyed octopus, which stands for the letter G of the Google logo, pops out with creepy background music. A pair of eyes, which stand for the letter O, come out of the second door and a veiled ghost, which stands for the letter G, is seen in the third door.
A strange creature, which stands for the letter L, is seen in the window pane, and a smilling creature, which stands for the letter E comes the last door, thus forming the word "Google".
