Of Mortal Kombat X, Projectiles and Old Ladies [VIDEO]

Who's the greatest Mortal Kombat character of all time? The question may sound a bit redundant with fans pointing towards iconic fighters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, and Liu Kang. After all, to each his own.

However, what if we told you that none of the aforementioned characters, and not even the ones that feature in the game's illustrious roster, come even close to one of the NPCs that has given us so much joy, courtesy the newly-released Mortal Kombat X.

Have you all met Blanche?

Blanche is the old lady that you will see in the background of the Outworld Marketplace stage. If you have played the new Mortal Kombat, chances are that you already know her, and that she can be used as a projectile, a sort of weapon that you can throw at your opponents during a fight.

And in our opinion, Blanche is probably the best thing that has happened to Mortal Kombat (since uber-sexualising Mileena's character, although she still needs dental insurance). As it seems hardcore fans of the MK universe are talking more about Blanche thesedays than any other affiliated fighter in the roster.

While Blanche was already available as a projectile for players, in the Outworld Marketplace stage, to throw at their opponents (and then feeling sorry to see the old woman lying in a pool of blood), it now seems like developer NetherRealm Studios has added a new ability to the old lady's arsenal.

With the new update from NetherRealm for the game, players can now even use her to perform a brutality move on an opponent. If you can successfully pull off the move, you should see Blanche transforming into a sort of "murdering molly" and finishing off your opponent with bare hands.
