NetherRealm Studios, developer of upcoming fighting title, Mortal Kombat X has hinted that players can expect an announcement of a new ninja character for the game. Players can also expect a new character in January.
The ninja character reveal comes directly from Ed Boon, the director of Mortal Kombat game. He answered a Twitter fan question on a ninja character coming to Mortal Kombat X. His reply to this was, "Define new," which might mean that the ninja character could have appeared in earlier Mortal Kombat games.
To Boon's answer many fans speculated that this could be 'Tremor' as he is a ninja who had previously appeared in 2000's Mortal Kombat: Special Forces. He was one of the bosses in the game, reported Attack of the Fanboy.
The game already had two ninjas - Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
NetherRealm Studios has already confirmed these characters - Goro, Raiden, Kano, Quan Chi, Cassie Cage, Kotal Khan, Ferra/Torr, and D'Vorrah.
