A couple of images of what appears to be the top-end variant of Renault's small car Kwid have emerged online, not long after spy shots of base variant of the same hit the web.
Snapped by Team BHP reader, the latest spy shots of Renault Kwid reveals the Lodgy StepWay styled 2-slat grille with chrome inserts, chrome door handles, chrome touched tail lights , roof rails and side body cladding. Renault Kwid's entry level trim is expected to feature black front and back bumpers with black grille and steel wheels.
Built on Renault-Nissan's CMF-A modular platform, Renault Kwid is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh. Under the hood, Kwid is expected to come plonked with 800 cc three-cylinder petrol mills that can dish out 57bhp power. The transmission in Kwid is expected to be taken care of by either a five-speed gearbox or AMT.
We also hear that Kwid would also get a more powerful 1.0 litre petrol engine with both manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options within six months of its launch in the country.
