Popular UV maker Mahindra will pull the cover off its new small SUV TUV300 in India on 10 September, and days ahead of its scheduled launch in India, coming our way is a new set of images of TUV300, detailing the interiors of the model.
The photos were taken by an Indian Autos Blog reader and judging by the images, the spotted TUV300 is believed to be the mid-variant of the model and features the dual-tone black and beige cabin.
The steering wheel, which is seen in the latest images, looks the same as the one teased by the company earlier last week. However, it does not have silver garnish on the spokes and the audio and Bluetooth controls. The model in the images seems to have manual air conditioner and does not feature the touchscreen unit. The cabin has enough storage space with mobile phone compartment and bottle holders.
From what we know so far, the powertrain of TUV300, the sub-four meter SUV, will feature a new mHawk80 engine, which is expected to be an updated version of Quanto's 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel motor. The transmission in TUV300 is likely to be taken care of either by a 5-speed manual gearbox or AMT. The SUV is expected to be offered in three variants -- TUV300 T4, TUV300 T6 and TUV300 T8 -- and is likely to be available in six exterior body shades -- red, white, silver, black, blue and orange.
The bookings for TUV300 are open at the dealers of Mahindra across the country against a down payment of Rs 20,000. When launched, it is likely to be priced at Rs 7 lakh.
