Dating rumours have been plaguing Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung ever since they acted together in South Korean historical romance drama Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.
Their sizzling onscreen chemistry is what sparked these rumours, and Kim Yoo Jung has tried to set the record straight a number of times. But it looks like fans of the duo are not yet ready to accept that there isn't anything romantic between the two.
Speculation about the existence of a romantic relationship further gained momentum when Kim Yoo Jung revealed that her mother also had a similar doubt. "Even my mom and my sister were worried and would ask, 'Are you sure you don't actually like Park Bo Gum?'" she said in an interview, according to Soompi.
In the same interview Kim Yoo Jung praised Park Bo Gum for being a considerate co-star, saying: "Since [Park Bo Gum] is a really warm person, I was able to [immerse myself into the drama] such that there were times when Bo Gum oppa felt like crown prince Lee Young, and Bo Gum oppa felt like crown prince Lee Young. [Park Bo Gum] not only works hard at his acting, even off camera he is very thoughtful of others and makes them comfortable. He was a very good oppa."
However, when asked if it would be so difficult to love such a warm and affectionate person, Kim Yoo Jung said: "Everyone is wondering how it's possible to not like him [romantically], but it's not like everyone in the world must like Bo Gum oppa. And I don't."
According to some, Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung might reveal the truth about their romance once she becomes a major. The actress is just 17 years-old now.
