With the advancement of social media, it is a common practice for filmmakers to create official Facebook pages to promote their upcoming films. However, the makers of upcoming Malayalam film "Monsoon Mangoes" have gone a little bigger by creating their own website introducing the plot, cast and crew of the film.
The website explains the roles of each and every major character of the film.
"Monsoon Mangoes" also has Vijay Razz, Iswarya Menon, Nandu, Tovino Thomas, Vinay Forrt, Sanju Sivaram, Jacob Gregory, Thampi Antony, Josekutty V and Sajini Sachariah in pivotal roles.
The comedy entertainer narrates the story of amateur filmmaker DP Pallickal, played by Fahadh. He claims to be the next Steven Spielberg and is passionate about filmmaking, but, what he lacks is talent in direction. He sets out to make an epic Malayalam film, said to be first of its kind, from the US with an unknown Hindi actor. What happens next forms the crux of the comedy entertainer.
While Vijay will be seen as old washed-up Hindi actor Prem Kumar, Gregory plays the role of a new superstar with a superhit film. Vinay will be seen as Fahadh's assistant director Miguel.

The 2-hour-5-minute film, directed by Abi Varghese, is expected to be a full-on comedy entertainer by the New York-based filmmaker, who is known for his hit Malayalam sitcom "Akkara Kazhchakal".
