The makers of the movie "Mohenjo Daro" have released the title song "Mohenjo Mohenjo." The title track of the period film features Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde along with some other stars.
Sung by AR Rahman, Arijit Singh, Bella Shinde and Sanah Moidutty, the title track of "Mohenjo Daro" is a happy-sounding song. The song has been composed by AR Rahman and Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics.
The song video shows Hrithik flaunting some smooth dance moves and Pooja too joins the celebration song with her graceful steps. This is the second song from the film after romantic number "Tu Hai" was released.
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, "Mohenjo Daro" is an adventure drama that will present Hrithik in a rugged avatar, while Pooja will be seen as a princess. Kabir Bedi plays the main antagonist in the role of an evil ruler.
Co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, the movie is one of the most awaited flicks of this year as Hrithik will be seen on the big screen after a long time. The film "Mohenjo Daro" is set in the backdrop of 2016 BC, showcasing the Indus Valley civilization.
Although fans are excited about the film, a section of people had criticised the director for allegedly wrongly depicting the ancient civilization. The movie has mostly been shot in Bhuj and Mumbai. It is slated to be released on Aug. 12. Check the title track of "Mohenjo Daro" here:
