Recent reports suggest Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife Sussanne Khan has purchased a plush property far from where the Roshans reside.
The interior designer has reportedly bought a penthouse in the heart of Pune city for a whopping ₹16-₹17 crore.
"Yes, she has purchased a penthouse in Pune. It is located in Trump Towers, Kalyani Nagar. It cost somewhere between Rs 16 and Rs 17 crore," a source told Mid-Day.
Soon after parting ways with the Bollywood hunk, Khan had moved to a temporary accommodation - a high-rise in Seven Bungalows, Mumbai. While it is not known if she has any plan to move out of the city, it has been learnt that the recent purchase is only for investment purpose.
"She is looking to expand her business and has bought the penthouse only for investment purpose." the source added.
There were reports around mid-2014, the "Bang Bang" actor had also made a property investment in Pune.
The childhood sweethearts broke million hearts when they called off their marriage of 14 years in December 2013.
However, soon after their separation, reports stated that Khan had demanded a whopping ₹400 crore from the "Mohenjo Daro" actor as alimony.
The massive alimony has raised quite a few eyebrows as Khan is an established interior decorator and has a store, The Charcoal Project, in a posh area of Mumbai. However, rubbishing the reports, the actor said the rumours were baseless.
Later in November 2014, Roshan and Khan were granted divorce by a family court. The duo shares the custody of their son, Hrehaan (7) and Hridaan (5).
