Hrithik Roshan is one of the few stars in the industry who understands dance well. Even though the actor isn't trained, he aces routines like no other.
"Dance Plus" judge Shakti Mohan has been promised a music video with the "Mohenjo Daro" actor, which will be choreographed by co-judge Punit Pathak. Apparently, the superstar said he would need to rehearse extensively to match-up to the lady's dancing skills.
"Hrithik has been Shakti's dance idol since his 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' [debut film, 2000] days. When she got to know that he would be visiting the set, she created an audio-visual with family and friends talking about her craze for the actor. She then grooved with him to the 'You are My Soniya' dance number from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'," a source told Mid-Day.
Meanwhile, Shakti is giddy to have met Hrithik on the sets of "Dance Plus." Talking to the daily, she said that it would be dream come true if he starred with her in a music video, as promised.
"I am a die-hard Hrithik fan and it will be a dream come true to feature in a music single with him. I was at a loss for words when I met him in person. He is among the few Bollywood actors, who understand dance at the most basic level," she elaborated.
If Hrithik and Shakti get together for a video, it won't be the star's first. He has romanced Sonam Kapoor to the rehashed "Dheere Dheere Se" track in a video, which has garnered over 150 million hits on YouTube.
In other news, Hrithik is gearing up for "Mohenjo Daro." Although the first-look posters, trailer and songs of the ambitious project have been met with a lukewarm response, the makers are betting big on the superstar's return to the silver screen after two long years.
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the period film releases on Aug. 12, same day as Akshay Kumar's "Rustom," and stars Pooja Hegde and Kabir Bedi in key roles.
