After the release of "Bang Bang", several directors were hoping to work with Hrithik Roshan. Not only did the action-thriller garner phenomenal buzz on social media, it also raked in staggering amounts of money.
While the suave actor may be busy with Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro", a few filmmakers are looking at booking him for their upcoming projects. According to reports, AR Murugadoss is eyeing at working with the superstar.
"Hrithik has been keen to collaborate with the South director as he now wants to do more action/adventure subjects. The same has been conveyed to Murugadoss and he has been developing a script for the actor," a source told DNA.
A film is incomplete without a leading lady. In this case, the project hasn't been finalised as yet and the cast is also uncertain, but there's a buzz that Shruti Haasan might be roped in for the project.
"No leading lady had been finalised but Shruti has been approached for the role. Shruti shares a great equation with the filmmaker and wants her in the project. Currently, the logistics are being worked out," the insider added.
Last month, there were reports of Vishal Bhardwaj and Siddharth Anand signing Hrithik for their films. The fact that he was approached was true, but the actor put rumours to rest by clarifying that he was concentrating only on Ashutosh's magnum opus at present.
"I am currently focussed only on 'Mohenjo Daro' (being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker) and have not signed any other movie yet," Hrithik said, according to Mid Day.
Scheduled to release on 12 August, 2016, "Mohenjo Daro" is an epic adventure-romance film set in 2500 BC which features debutant Pooja Hegde and Kiran Bedi in key roles.
