The makers of "Mohenjo Daro" starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde, have released a new song titled "Sarsariya." It is a slow, melodious track that shows Hrithik and Pooja's adorable chemistry.
Sung by Shashwat Singh and Shashaa Tirupati, the song "Sarsariya" has been composed by AR Rahman. Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics.
Earlier, two other songs, "Tu Hai" and "Mohenjo Daro" title track were released. "Sarsariya" shows Pooja's character as a jolly and fun-loving princess, who is enjoying the beauty around her.
There is some cute dance sequence between Hrithik and Pooja too. This is the first time that the two stars will be seen sharing screen space. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, "Mohenjo Daro" is an adventure drama.
Set in the backdrop of Indus Valley civilisation, the film will present Hrithik in a rugged avatar and Pooja will play the character of a princess. The trailer of "Mohenjo Daro" had received mixed response from the audience.
While some gave thumbs up to the trailer, some others had criticised it alleging that the film wrongly presents the ancient civilisation. Kabir Bedi plays the character of an evil ruler in the period drama. "Mohenjo Daro" will hit the screens on Aug. 12. Check the latest song video "Sarsariya" here:
