Hrithik Roshan and his "Mohenjo Daro" team have been shooting in Bhuj, Gujarat, for 101 days and the gruelling schedule was finally wrapped up on Saturday.
Leading lady Pooja Hegde shared a team selfie on Twitter writing, "Wrapping up from Bhuj having completed 101 days of shoot! What an amazing team!#MohenjoDaro."
Extreme weather conditions and stunts, among other things, made the suave star's 3-month-long journey tad difficult. Last month, the actor told IANS the shoot has been on despite dust storms, adding how people have been fainting but everyone's at it.
Also, Hrithik, who underwent a brain surgery last year, reportedly showed reluctance in performing a particular stunt, which required him to jump from one point to another. However, the scene was tweaked after the star said it could lead to an injury.
To add to this, the strict no-phone and no-family on sets rule was applied to avoid leaks and spoilers online. The cell phones would be taken away in the morning and returned post-filming.
"Hrithik, too did not invite his family on the sets in Bhuj. He recently took his family on a holiday and has resumed shooting in Bhuj two days back," DNA quoted a source in an article published on 3 April.
Slated to release on 12 August 2016, this Ashutosh Gowariker directorial is an epic adventure-romance film starring Kabir Bedi, Manish Chaudhary and Arunoday Singh. Additionally, AR Rahman has been roped in for the music and Javed Akhtar for lyrics.
