Hrithik Roshan, who is currently busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro", is rumoured to have been roped in to play the lead in "Aashiqui 3".
Rumours started doing the rounds after Hrithik recently recreated the popular song, "Dheere dheere se", from "Aashiqui", in a special video with Sonam Kapoor, according to a report in The Times of India.
"Aashiqui" released in 1990, turned out to be a musical superhit. And later in 2013, "Aashiqui 2", starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor lived upto the viewers expectations, with a soulful music album.
While, no confirmation has been made by the honey-eyed actor or the makers, the piece of news can be at best considered a mere speculation.
Meanwhile, "Mohenjo Daro" is a mega-budget period drama also starring newcomer Pooja Hedge.
The film is a love story that dates back to the 26th century BC and has some powerful stunts performed by the Greek-God-looks actor.
The "Bang Bang" actor will also be hosting a reality TV series, "Entitled Real Heroes", the shooting of which is currently going on. "Entitled Real Heroes" is based on people who fought against all odds to become real-life heroes.
