Sajid Khan and Hrithik Roshan may team up for a film and it isn't another run-of-the-mill comedy. The director is planning something in the "serious" space.
"Hrithik would never do something like a Housefull. Keeping that in mind, Sajid is developing a script that is high on emotions, specifically romance," SpotboyE reported. They have been holding meetings regarding the same.
Hrithik, who has had a good run at the box office, may just be taking a dodgy step with Sajid's film, given the fact that his track record hasn't been very impressive ("Himmatwala" and "Humshakals"). However, there's been no official confirmation yet.
Meanwhile, Hrithik has a few projects that are keeping him busy. A few portions of Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" needs to wrapped up, after which Sanjay Gupta's "Kaabil" kick-starts.
The epic adventure-romance film, which will see Hrithik play a farmer, is set in primordial times. Scheduled for an Aug. 12 release, the film features new comer Pooja Hegde in a key role.
"Kaabil," on the other hand, has an interesting storyline. From what has been reported, Hrithik will play a visually-challenged person on the hunt for his girlfriend's murderers.
The makers have blocked Jan. 26, 2017, as its release date and the shooting begins by March-end. Yami Gautam, who gets to portray a blind woman in the film, is thrilled to be working with the superstar.
"I am very excited to get such a huge opportunity to star with him (Hrithik). I am nervous to share screen space with him. He is a big star and someone whose work has inspired me every time. I am sure he will be amazing to work with. So, I am really looking forward to work with him," she told IANS.
