After a dull year, superstar Mohanlal is all set to enthral his fans with the upcoming movie "Pulimurugan", which has been making headlines ever since it went on floors. The action thriller is one of the much-awaited projects of the year.
Latest reports from the industry suggest the Vysakh directorial is going to be released in more than 3,000 screens throughout the world. The news was reportedly revealed by the movie's producer Tomichan Mulakuppadam. If it turns out to be true, "Pulimurugan" will be the first Malayalam movie to attain this rare feat.
The thriller, shot in Kerala, Vietnam, South Africa and Thailand, is expected to have a 20-minute climax scene in which the superstar will be seen fighting a tiger. Reports suggest Mohanlal acted in the fight sequence, choreographed by Peter Hein, without any body double.
"Pulimurugan" also has Kamalini Mukherjee, Namitha, Jagapati Babu, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Bala and Vinu Mohan in pivotal roles. Udayakrishna has penned the screenplay of the movie, for which Gopi Sunder has composed the background score and soundtrack. Shaji handles the cinematography of the film, which is being produced under the banner of Mulakuppadam Films. The movie is expected to hit the screens during Ramzan.
