After speculations about the Telugu version of Mohanlal's Pulimurugan were making the rounds on social media, actor Jagapathi Babu, who plays a pivotal role in the action thriller, has confirmed the news.
Jagapathi, who plays the villain's role of Daddy Girija, shared a photo of his dubbing for the Telugu version of the Malayalam movie. Currently, Pulimurugan is set to become one of the highest grossing projects in the Malayalam cinema.
"Extremely excited to be a part of Mohanlal Garu's Pulimurugan that is already creating waves at the box office. Currently dubbing for the Telugu version which will be out soon! [sic]," the actor posted on Facebook confirming the news on the Telugu dubbed version of the action thriller.

Peter Hein, who choreographed the action sequences in Pulimurugan, has also confirmed the news by sharing the posters of the Telugu version through his Facebook page.
The Mohanlal-starrer has been titled Manyam Puli in Telugu. "#Mohanlal sir to roar as #Manyampuli Telugu Posters," the stunt master, who has been garnering tremendous response from the audience wrote while sharing the posters. Rumours have it that the movie will hit the screens on October 21.
Mohanlal has also revealed that the team has plans to release the thriller in Chinese and Vietnamese, apart from Hindi and English.
Pulimurugan, directed by Vysakh and bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupaadam, has been making earth-shattering collection in Kerala. The movie has already grossed Rs 25 crore within a week of its release in the state. The positive response to the movie is expected to continue with the release of the Telugu version as well.
Meanwhile, Manyam Puli is the third Telugu project of the superstar this year within three months. The actor, who made his grand entry to Tollywood with Chandra Sekhar Yeleti's family entertainer Manamantha, was also seen in action thriller Janatha Garage.
The Koratala Siva directorial has already become a blockbuster by raking in a gross collection of Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office. It has become the second fastest movie to achieve the feat after Baahubali - The Beginning.
