Malayalam actor Mohanlal and director Priyadarshan are set to team up once again, as per latest reports. Their new venture will be an international multi-lingual film with a budget of Rs 28 crore, making it the most expensive Malayalam movie ever made.
The yet-to-be-titled film, which will be shot fully in Russia, will be produced jointly by Rauf G Mehdiyev from Azerbaijan and Jaison Pulikottil of Full House Entertainment, reported Manorama Online.
There will be only four Malayalam actors -- Mohanlal, Aparna Gopinath, Prathap Pothen and Sasi Kumar -- in the cast, besides 21 artistes from Azerbaijan.

The Priyadarshan directorial, touted to be an action thriller, tells the story of a woman (Aparna), who along with her husband (Mohanlal), travels to Russia in search of her mother. This is Aparna's first film with superstar Mohanlal. She had earlier played the lead opposite Mammootty (the other superstar from Kerala) in "Munariyippu" (2014).
The music of the film will be composed by Ilayaraja, while art direction will be handled by Sabu Cyril of "Baahubali" fame.
The film is set to go on floors around October and will be filmed simultaneously in Malayalam and Azerbaijani and dubbed in Turkish, Russian and Mandarin.
The Mohanlal starrer will have a worldwide release including the unexplored Central Asian and Chinese box offices, which will be a first for a Malayalam movie.
