South Indian superstar Mohanlal has taken a break from acting, and is holidaying in Antarctica with his family.
The actor recently posted a photo on his Facebook page, in which the actor, his wife Suchitra and son Pranav, were seen cruising in a ship through an icy sea, with the caption, "Sailing to Antarctica.'
The actor also shared a video on the social networking site that says, "Hi, a big hello from Antarctica, we are in Elephants Island".
The video showed the locales of an ice-covered mountainous island off the coast of Antarctica in the Southern Ocean.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday "Drishyam" actor shared another video, which says, "Hi, a big hello from a place called Tango. We are having a wonderful ride, to watch glaciers, and icebergs."
With Mohanlal reportedly reducing his number of movies per year, the actor might follow his passions more vigourosly: travelling, photography, reading and writing.
The actor will be next seen in Joshiy's "Laila O Laila" with Amala Paul and Sathyan Anthikkad's untitled movie with Manju Warrier. The superstar will also start working for other films, including two untitled movies by Madhupal and Sathyan apart from Vysakh's big-budget "Puli Murugan" and Shaji Kailas-Ranjith-Ranji Panicker film, which also has Mammootty in the lead role.
Pranav, who made his debut as a child artist in Major Ravi's "Punarjani", for which he received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist, has entered the film industry as an Assistant Director in Kamal Haasan starrer "Papanasam", which is the Tamil remake of Mohanlal's mega hit Malayalam movie, "Drishyam".
