Mohan Babu-Vishnu Manchu's "Rowdy" is all set to hit the screens on 4 April. The high-voltage action entertainer, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, will be releasing on 3 April in the United States.
"Rowdy" is one of the most-awaited films of 2014. Expectations are high for the action entertainer, thanks to impressive first look posters and the trailer that have generated a lot of buzz among fans.
Sharing about his experience of working in the film, Vishnu Manchu said, "I have enjoyed doing this film thoroughly. It has incredible energy and is exciting." The actor is confident that the film will not disappoint the audience.
"Rowdy," set in the arid landscapes of the faction ridden Rayalaseema region, will have Mohan Babu playing the most powerful role he has enacted in his film career. The actor will appear in his natural avatar without toupee and with rugged good looks in "Rowdy."
The film also marks the return of yesteryear hit pair Mohan Babu and Jayasudha. Actress Shanvi has been paired opposite Vishnu Manchu in the film. The other cast members include Kishore, Tanikella Bharani and Ravi Babu.
The Ram Gopal Varma directorial is produced by Parthasarathy, Gajendra and Vijaykumar under the AV Pictures banner. The film's music is scored by Sai Karthik.
With the film confirmed to release on 4 April, it is expected to clash with Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Legend" and Allu Arjun's "Race Gurram."
"Legend" is likely to release on 28 March, whereas "Race Gurram" is expected to hit the screens on 4 April. If all goes well, fans can expect a big clash between these three films at the box office.
