Filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao is reportedly in talks with Dr Mohan Babu and Oscar Award winning musician AR Rahman for his upcoming movie featuring Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
On 23 February, Dasari Narayana Rao announced on his Facebook page that he would produce Pawan Kalyan's next movie. The pre-production works have already begun and his team is busy making a list of artistes and technicians.
Ever since his announcement, rumour mongers in T-town have been busy speculating about cast and crew of the film.
Dasari Narayana Rao and Mohan Babu have worked together in many movies like "Swargam Narakam", "Manushulanta Okkate", Sivaranjani", "Rangoon Rowdy", "Natchathiram", "Sardar Papa Rayudu" and "Sita Ramulu". They have maintained a good relationship over the years. Now, the producer wants to team up with the actor for his next movie.
Reports suggest that Dasari Narayana Rao is currently in talks with Mohan Babu for an important role in the movie. If everything goes as per plan, the actor will play a negative role opposite Pawan Kalyan in the untitled film.
Meanwhile, it is also rumoured that the team of Dasari Narayana Rao has listed some names of music directors. Reports also suggest that popular composer AR Rahman is the first choice for the film. The team is likely to approach the music director with the offer.
It should be mentioned here that AR Rahman has earlier composed music for Pawan Kalyan's "Puli" and its audio album became the biggest hit in the actor's career.
The movie was also nominated for Mirchi Music Award - Best Music Director and Best Album. If the musician is brought on board, the actor will have another hit album in his career.
Dasari Narayana Rao is expected to make an announcement about Mohan Babu and AR Rahman, once they are officiallly on board.
