Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Tuesday attended by the head of a Mutt in Karnataka and Gujarat governor OP Kohli.
Pejawar Mutt Head HH Sri Vishvesha Tirtha Swamiji came all the way from Karnataka to New Delhi to visit Modi and blessed him to deliver his governance with courage and compassion, a government statement said.
Later on the day, Gujarat Governor OP Kohli paid a courtesy visit to Modi. Replacing Kamla Beniwal, senior BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Kohli was sworn-in as the governor of Gujarat on 16 July.
Following their visits, Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Vijay yesterday presented Modi's biography written in Chinese at Central Hall of Parliament. Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu, BJP senior leader LK Advani and Finance and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley.
