It has been three solid years since Narendra Modi shifted bases from Gujarat to Delhi to assume Prime Minister's throne. Winning the Game of Thrones against the Congress in a memorable battle, the PM has left a saffron mark on the country.
While the mark is good or bad is a separate discussion altogether, the "travelling" prime minister has left a tangible footprint on the internet. PM Modi would leave Twitter and Facebook ROFLing with every trip he made or every speech he gave.

Almost every iconic photo of the PM would turn into a hilarious meme. Secretly, these must have tickled his funny bones as well. But the two trademark Modi dialogues which have become a synonym to the PM are "Bhaiyo aur Behno" and "Mitron".
The two phrases have either brought in some great news or plunged us into chaos. Remember demonetisation?
Modi's staple words have resulted in some memorable memes and jokes online. The word Mitron paved way to a slew of jokes on the radio, and soon, radio listeners were introduced to 'Mitron Sir'
The words have been trolled so much that one of them, Mitron, even made its way to the Dictionary, and found a place in the Urban Dictionary as well.
The popular website defines Mitron in two different ways:
1. A large group of unsuspecting people, about to be hit by something they will take a long time to recover from.
2. A precursor to bad news for large groups of people.
The website traces back the origin, just like any other dictionary, stating:
Origin
India: from the Hindi word Mitron, ironically meaning 'friends'. In recent times, however, it has been used to brutal effect to make a series of anti-people announcements.
But this wasn't half as hilarious as the internet memes on the words. The kings and queens of internet put their highly creative minds to the best use, make 'Mitron' an analgesic when the PM would bruise us with new, sometimes scary and heart wrenching, announcements.
Take a look at the best memes and jokes made of Modi's 'Bhaiyo aur Behno' and 'Mitron'.
