Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the Google campus in Silicon Valley on Sunday, after a visit to the Facebook headquarter where he participated in a Townhall session with Mark Zuckerberg.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai, an Indian-born, had welcomed PM Modi through a video message in which he had said that Googlers were awaiting his visit.
During a meeting of top tech CEOs with Modi at the 'Digital India' event, Pichai announced that Google will partner with India to set up free wi-fi at 500 railways stations in the country.
"I am not just excited because I grew up in India, I am excited because I deeply care about technology and know that India will play a big part in its future," Pichai said.
