Things are heating up in "Modern Family" season 6 episode 8, where the Dunphy family is busy preparing special Thanksgiving dinner with "Three Turkeys" and the Pritchetts are getting ready for a holiday trip in Mexico.
The special Thanksgiving episode of the popular sitcom will be aired on Wednesday at 9 pm on ABC. Here are the four things the viewers must know before the show:
1. Dunphys to Prepare Thanksgiving Dinner: Phil (Ty Burrell) will take the responsibility of preparing Thanksgiving dinner with the help of a special cooking app by British superchef Nigella Lawson and Luke (Nolan Gould) will be his sous chef.
In the meantime, Claire (Julie Bowen) will prepare a back up Turkey and hide it in the storeroom, but she may not succeed in holding the secret for long.
2. Pritchetts Vacation at Mexico: As per the official synopsis of "Three Turkeys," Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria's (Sofía Vergara) holiday trip to Mexico will get canceled at the last minute and they will have a tough time hiding the truth from the family.
3. Mitch-Cam vs Lily: Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) will once again have to come up with some innovative ideas to convince their adopted daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) since she has refused to wear a nice dress for Thanksgiving Dinner in "Modern Family" season 6 episode 8.
4. Episode 9 Spoilers: "When Alex tells Phil and Claire she has a boyfriend, they worry they've put too much pressure on her and has made up an imaginary boyfriend. Jay and Gloria both have parties that they are dragging the other to and Jay has a clever plan to get himself out of it, but Manny just might spoil everything.
