Black Mass
This film is based on the 2001 novel "Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance between the FBI and the Irish Mob" by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill.
Movie Synopsis: The film depicts the true story of Whitey Bulger, a prominent leader of organised crime in South Boston. Whitey is the brother of Massachusetts State senator William "Billy" Bulger. Following a string of violent acts, he becomes an FBI informant for 30 years in order to take down a Mafia family invading his turf. The film focuses on the period of the late 1970s and early 1980s, as Whitey was solidifying his position as the leader of the Irish-American Winter Hill Gang.

This action thriller is based on "Maze Runner The Scorch Trials" by James Dashner, the second novel in The Maze Runner trilogy

The Martian
This science fiction film, directed by Ridley Scott, is based on Andy Weir's 2011 novel, "The Martian".

But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meagre supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to send a signal to Earth to show that he is alive.

Victor Frankenstein
This upcoming horror film is an adaptation of Mary Shelly's 1818 novel "Frankenstein".
Movie Synopsis: The film is narrated from Igor's perspective and shows the troubled young assistant's dark origins. It also follows his redemptive friendship with the young medical student, Victor Von Frankenstein, and how Igor becomes an eyewitness to the emergence of Frankenstein becoming the man who created the popular legend. The two of them experiment and eventually get into trouble with authorities. And while they are near to becoming fugitives, they complete their goals to use science to create life, with Frankenstein's ultimate endgame of creating a man.

In the Heart of the Sea
The period adventure drama, set to release in December, is about the sinking of American whaling ship Essex in 1820 and is based on Nathaniel Philbrick's 2000 non-fiction book of the same name.
Movie Synopsis: In 1820, the whaleship Essex is crewed by Captain George Pollard, Jr., first officer Owen Chase, second officer Matthew Joy, and cabin boy Thomas Nickerson. During their voyage, the ship sinks when it is rammed by a huge bull sperm whale, leaving its crew shipwrecked at sea for 90 days. After the attack, the crew sails for South America and is forced to resort to cannibalism.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Movie Synopsis: After being symbolised as the Mockingjay, Katniss Everdeen and District 13 engage in an all-out revolution against the autocratic Capitol. In the battle, Katniss confronts President Snow in a final showdown. She will be joined by a group of her closest friends including Gale, Finnick and Peeta.
