Moana, the 56th animated feature film by Walt Disney Studios, will be released across the US on Wednesday, November 23. It could the next highest-grossing 3D movie at the box office by the franchise after Frozen.
The children across the globe will love the high-spirited sixteen-year-old girl named Moana Waialiki, the legendary demigod Maui and their pet rooster Hei Hei. While the girls will be inspired by the courageous daughter of chief navigator Tui Waialiki, boys will focus on the action sequences of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's character.
But the main attraction of the fairytale story will be the young tribe of pirates called Kakamora. Toddlers will surely love the tiny creators and dance along with them as they do small steps to the rhythm of the music. The dancing clip of Kakamora has already received a lot of traction online and it will not be surprising to watch the little ones roam around in coconut pirates costume.
Moana could also impress the children with some of its songs from the 40 tracks composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mark Mancina, Opetaia Foa'i and Mark Mancina. Especially, the tracks Where You Are and We Know The Way will attract the little ones to the movie. Whereas, the older kids could prefer the melodious songs Iam Moana and How Far I'll Go.
The animated feature film is set in a mystic island located in Polynesia and it features the aquatic adventurous trip of the female lead and the demigod. It stars Auli'i Cravalho, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Christopher Jackson, Nicole Scherzinger, Jemaine Clement, Alan Tudyk, Oscar Knightly Troy Polamalu and Puanani Cravalho.
The movie will be released in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore and Ukraine on November 24. In Bulgaria, China, Estonia, Indonesia, Lithuania, Poland and Vietnam it will be released on November 25. The film will hit the big screens in Argentina on November 27 followed by Belgium, France, Netherlands and Philippines on November 30.
In Brazil, Hungary, Mlaysia, Russia, Slovakia, Thailand and Spain the movie will be released on December 1. The release date for Moana in Spain and UK is on December 2. In Israel, it will be released on December 8. For Germany, Greece, Italy and Australia, it will be a Christmas release and for Brazil, the film is scheduled to hit big screens in January.
