The Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) show is gearing up for a glamorous award ceremony this December. After the first line-up of presenters, the rep of the event revealed some interesting names of the celebrities who will be performing at the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
The confirmed list of celebrities who will be performing at the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016 includes American rapper Wiz Khalifa, EXO's Baekhyun, miss A's Suzy Bae, GOT7, MONSTA X, BewhY, Taemin, Taeyeon, EXO, BTS, SEVENTEEN, GFRIEND, TWICE, I.O.I and NCT DREAM.
"Wiz Khalifa is a singer who topped the Billboard Singles Hot 100 Chart with his song 'Black and Yellow.' He is well-known in Korea for his song 'See You Again,' which was part of the original soundtrack of the 'Fast and Furious franchise," Director Kang Hee Jung said during a press conference.
"Wiz Khalifa is a recognized hip-hop icon, and he's going to be collaborating with a K-pop artist for a special performance."
Talking about Bae and Baekhyun's performances the director said that they will be performing on their hit Dream at the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
"There have been so many songs this year, but rather than a simple featuring, I think two different people collaborating is beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful, charming pair [together on stage]," she added.
Earlier, the makers revealed the list of celebrities who will be attending the award show as presenters. Celebrities including Lee Byung Hun, Cha Seung Won, Ha Ji Won, Han Hyo Joo, Jang Hyuk, Han Ji Min, Park Ki Woong, and Park Min Young will attend the award show.
MAMA 2016 is an annual award show. The eight edition of the award show will be hosted by CJ E&M. The award ceremony will take place live on December 2 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
