Malayalam actress Mithra Kurian is all set for her wedding day. As per reports, the actress will get married to her long time boyfriend William Francis in January.
Willam has worked as music programmer for more than 200 South Indian films. The couple apparently met during a star night in 2012 and fell in love. William is a native of Thrissur and Mithra is from Cochin.
"It was during a star night in 2012 that I met William and eventually we fell in love. When we told our parents, they gave their consent and we decided to get married. In short, our story comes under the 'love-cum-arranged marriage' tag. Since I am settled in Ernakulum, the betrothal will be held here and marriage will be held in Thrissur in January. There are only a few more days left for the D-Day and I am yet to start my wedding shopping," an excited Mithra told The Times of India.
However, it is not clear if the actress will continue her acting career after marriage.
"Chettayi and his family are very supportive towards my acting career. But I haven't decided anything yet," added the actress.
Mithra had made her debut in 2004 with Mohanlal starrer Malayalam movie "Vismayathumbathu" as Nayanthara's friend. The actress later went on to act in Malayalam and Tamil film industry. She later did prominent roles in films like "Mayookham", "Gulumaal: The Escape", "Bodyguard", "Raama Raavanan", "Kaavalan", "Ulkam VChuttum Valiban", "Masters", "Grandmaster" and "Ladies and Gentleman".
The actress had also won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress, 2011, for her performance in Vijay starrer "Kaavalan".
Meanwhile, the actress is busy wrapping up the schedule of all her movie commitments much before her wedding day. She is currently shooting for her Tamil movie "Buddhanin Sirippu".
