The fourth instalment of the guilty pleasure drama "Mistresses" is set to return soon, but many wonder if Alyssa Milano will return to the sets of the hit ABC TV series.
The actress opted out of the show in Season 3 when the network started shooting the series in Vancouver, Canada. However, a Christian Today article states "Mistresses" will film the upcoming episodes in Los Angeles after the California Film Commission offered tax benefits.
After the news was published, fans have speculated on Milano joining the cast to reprise her role as Savi. The lawyer has a role to play in the Season 4 premiere, but it remains to be seen if the actress will play the part. According to Deadline, the showrunners have said Savi will always remain a "part of the fabric of the show."
If Milano does return to the sets, she will fill up the void left by Jennifer Esposito's character Calista Raines. Nonetheless, it remains to be seen if Savi will have a major storyline in Season 4.
Showrunners Rina Mimoun and KJ Steinberg said Joss (Jes Macallan) and Harry (Brett Tucker) will move to Europe because of Harry's new job. At this juncture, it is difficult to imagine Savi playing a prominent role in the plot when her sister is far removed from California.
So far, Milano hasn't confirmed about her comeback to the TV show.
"Mistresses" Season 4 is rumoured to premiere in June 2016.
