The Miss World 2016 beauty contest is gearing up for the finale, with the organisers announcing the winners of top challenge events. On Saturday, the winner of one of the top challenge events, Top Model, at the the Miss World 2016 beauty pageant was revealed.
Miss China PR Jing Kong emerged as the winner of Top Model challenge, beating the other 118 contestants. The winner of the Top Model challenge was revealed on the official Facebook page of Miss World. Miss Indonesia Natasha Mannuela came second and Miss Dominican Republic Yaritza Reyes came third, while Miss France Morgane Edvige and Miss Kenya Evelyn Njambi Thungu rounded up the top five.
The winner of the Top Model challenge, which started in 2004, directly qualifies for the semifinals, according to Missosology.
Earlier, the beauty pageant organisers revealed the winner of the Sports challenge. Miss Cook Island Natalia Short won the Sports challenge, making her another contestant in the top 20. "I still can't even believe I won, I truly can't comprehend this, but I'm so blessed to have been able to do this for my country. I'm proud to be a Kuki," Miss World Cook Islands said, according to the official website.
