Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was felicitated at the recently concluded 2014 Miss World beauty pageant for her active humanitarian work "Beauty With a Purpose", since winning the crown two decades ago.
The grand finale of the 64th edition of the International beauty pageant was held in London on 14 December and Aishwarya, the most successful Miss World till date, walked the ramp with husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan, daughter Aaradhya and mother Vrinda Rai.
The former Miss World looked drop dead gorgeous in a silver Roberto Cavalli gown complemented with a bold red lip colour.
Some pictures of the beauty queen have surfaced where the "Devdas" actress is seen rehearsing with Miss World Chairman Julia Morley before the event kicked off. Accompanying her mother during the rehearsals is three-year-old Aaradhya.
In the pictures, the casually dressed actress is seen engaged in her rehearsals while adorable Aaradhya looks confused.
This year, contestants from 121 countries competed to win the prestigious title.
The Miss World 2014 crown went to 22-year-old Miss South Africa, Rolene Strauss. India's Koyal Rana made it to the top 10 list.
