The top contestants in the Miss World 2013 Beach Fashion posed for the final round on the shores of Bali Island in Indonesia on 15 September.
The top 11 finalists who made it to the final round of Beach Fashion, one of the much-awaited categories of the Miss World pageant, were taken to a secluded beach for an exclusive photoshoot as a part of the contest.
The contestants were photographed by the organisation's top photographer, who has worked for some of Indonesia's high-end magazines, according to the official website.
The participants who made to the top 11 positions are from France, Brazil, China PR, Italy, Jamaica, Ghana, Philippines, Ukraine, Moldova, Indonesia and Spain.
This year, the finalists wore one-piece swimwear, a traditional Balinese sarong, instead of the bikini, at the Miss World competition. Organisers said that the change in tradition was only to show that the beauty pageant is not just about physical beauty, but also about cultural values.
"I think it shows that Miss World is a beauty pageant that not only just looks at physique, but also the heart. Thus, the concept of sarong is very nice," said Vania Larissa, a representative of Miss Indonesia 2013.
The winner of the all the six rounds will be declared on the final day of the beauty pageant, i.e. on 28 September.
