The 63rd edition of the Miss World beauty pageant has announced the top 10 finalists on Tuesday. Miss World India, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, failed to make it to the final list.
The Top 10 Model Challenge event was held at Mangupura Hall at Bali International Convention Center where the 2013 beauty pageant is taking place.
The finalists were selected after a fashion show round, that highlighted the work of Indonesia's top fashion designers, and the catwalk skills of this year's contestants, according to the official website.
The show began with 127 contestants walking the ramp in their exquisite and unique outfits created by 48 designers from Indonesia's Elite Fashion house.
The top 10 models selected after the music performances are: Miss World Ukraine Anna Zaiachkivska, Miss World South Sudan Modong Manuela Mogga, Miss World Brazil Sancler Frantz, Miss World Philippines Megan Young, Miss World France Marine Lorphelin, Miss World Cameroon Denise Valerie Ayena, Miss World Cyprus Kristy Marie Agapioy, Miss World England Kirsty Heslewood, Miss World Italy Sarah Baderna and Miss World United States Olivia Jordan.
India's only hope, Navneet Kaur, could not make it in the top 10 list, but she assured that will bounce back to win the Miss World crown.
"Gave my best shot but couldn't make it to the top 10 of 'The Top Model Challenge Event'. But rest assured, I WILL BOUNCE BACK TO WIN THE Miss World CROWN," the 20-year-old model said on her Facebook page.
The winner of the 'Top Model Contest' will be selected only on the finale event, which will take place on 28 September.
