Vasuki Sunkavalli, a lawyer by profession and a former model from Hyderabad, will represent India at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held at Sao Paulo in Brazil on September 12.
Vasuki (27) was the winner of the 'I am She- Miss Universe India' contest held in Mumbai on July, 15, 2011.
Now, the question is - Will Vasuki join the league of Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta who won the beauty pageant in 1994 and 2000 respectively? No Indian has won the title since Lara Dutta brought the crown to the country in 2000. Will Vasuki be able to end the 11-year-old torpor?
