Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher-starrer Mirzya is set to have a box office clash with MSG The Warrior: Lion Heart (MSG 2) featuring Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Both the movies are releasing on October 7.
While Mirzya is Harshvardhan and Saiyami's debut movie, MSG The Warrior: Lion Heart is second installment of the film MSG The Messenger. Starring spiritual leader, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, MSG The Warrior: Lion Heart apparently has a huge frenzy among the actor's fans.
On one side, Mirzya has been garnering appreciation from the tinsel town after a special screening was held. Fans of Gurmeet Ram Rahim have been tweeting to express their excitement for the spiritual leader's film.
Although MSG The Messenger was vehemently slammed by the critics, makers of the film had claimed that audience had loved the movie. While box office reports had said that the film was a flop with a lifetime collection of just around Rs 10 crore, makers of MSG The Messenger reportedly claimed that it had earned over Rs 120 crore at the Indian box office.
Written, directed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim himself, MSG The Warrior: Lion Heart features him in lead role as well. On the other side, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Mirzya is a romantic drama that has a shade of the folk tale of Mirza Sahiban.
Only time will decide if the box office clash turns out to be a tough fight or it remains a one-sided show.
