Mirzya, starring debutant Harshvardhan Kapoor and debutante Saiyami Kher, is slated to be released on October 7, but a special screening for Bollywood celebrities has already been held. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Mirzya has managed to impress the B-Town stars who have been praising the film.
The special screening of the film was attended by several Bollywood celebs, including Sidharth Malhotra, Javed Akhtar, Kunal Khemu, Soha Ali Khan, Shabana Azmi and Rishi Kapoor, among others.
Many of the celebs took to Twitter and applauded both Harshvardhan's and Saiyami's performances, apart from the director's vision. The movie Mirzya is being appreciated for the storyline and also the music has been getting a lot of attention.
The film has been inspired by the love story of Mirza-Sahiban. Mirzya is a timeless folk-tale about two lovers in two parallel worlds -- one real and other fictional. Gulzar has penned the lyrics of the songs while, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have composed the songs.
