Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy, who were part of blockbuster "Thani Oruvan" last year, are coming together again. The credit for reuniting them goes to director Lakshman of "Romeo Juliet" fame for his upcoming film "Bogan."
Hansika Motwani has also been roped in to play an important role in the movie, reports the Times of India. The Tamil flick has been titled "Bogan", in which Ravi plays the role of a cop.
The Jayam Ravi-Arvind Swamy's combo was a big hit in "Thani Oruvan." Hence, the makers have signed them again.
The daily adds that Hansika Motwani and Jayam Ravi will be part of the photoshoot of "Bogan" next week. However, the regular shooting will begin in March and majority of the movie will be shot in Chennai and Puducherry.
It has to be noted that Jayam Ravi, Hansika Motwani and Laksman had earlier worked in the rom-com "Romeo Juliet." The lead stars' chemistry had worked in the flick. Now, the trio has teamed up for the action film "Bogan" to recreate the magic.
Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi's "Miruthan," which was released last week, is off to a good start at the box office. The first Zombie film of Kollywood has been appreciated by the audience and critics. Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, it has fantastic performances by the lead actors, backed by good screenplay.
Jayam Ravi, who is all set to work with Gautham Menon this year, was part of three successful films in 2015: "Romeo Juliet," "Thani Oruvan" and Bhooloham." The latest movie is likely to get a "hit" status if the early trends are taken into the consideration.
