Miranda Lambert is playing it strong. The country singer who has remained low key since splitting from husband Blake Shelton in July is finally making headlines again. It looks like the 32-year-old singer has also bounced back from her previous relationship and instead of feeling sad, reading about her ex-husband's love tales with Gwen Stefani, she has decided to respond to it in a similar fashion. According to the latest reports, her response comes in the form of Anderson East, an Americana/ R&B singer whom she is rumoured to be dating.
If new reports are anything to go by, then it looks like Lambert will not ring in the New Year's as a single lady as she has been reportedly dating East for about a month now, reported US Weekly.
East, who is from Athens, Alabama, is now living in Nashville to pursue his music career and is apparently not as popular as her previous partners. He got his start as a session musician and engineer in Nashville, and the website added that the new couple will be spending New Year's together.
"They are really enjoying each other's company. East and Lambert are spending New Year's together," an insider told.
To this, one of East's friends said that he is just that perfect man for the Grammy winner. "She couldn't have picked a better dude to have fun with. Anderson is the coolest guy," the friend said.
Meanwhile, Miranda has apparently decided to keep an eye on her ex-husband's new lover Gwen Stefani as she has started following the No Doubt singer on Twitter. TMZ has pointed out that Gwen has been posting about Blake, things they do and places they go together, and this has got Lambert interested in following the singer.
So, the reports said that this could be intentional or maybe just a way to express peace, but this will definitely help Miranda keep a tab on the things that Blake and Gwen do together.
Now, fans start to read between the lines and conclude that it can't be just a coincidence that Miranda starts following Gwen Stefani and rumours about her dating Anderson East start swirling around at the same time.
Well, many think this is Miranda Lambert's response to Blake Shelton-Gwen Stefani romance.
