The release date of the upcoming video game, Minecraft: Story Mode, was accidently released by Amazon, according to reports that have surfaced online.
The rumoured leak suggests that Minecraft: Story Mode will be out on 27 October, 2015 for North American countries and on 30 October, 2015 for European countries. The leak was spotted by an NeoGAF user, BluenoseGames, who came across the Amazon listing. He said, "So I was browsing Amazon as you do and this popped up and haven't seen a thread on it so here we go."
The description on the game notes that this is an adventure game that is set in Minecraft world. It will be released in a five-part episode series where players will be taking to "Nether, the Farlands, the End, and beyond!"
The game will require Internet connection and will apparently cost $29.99 on Amazon.
Also, the game will include voices of well-known voice actors such as Patton Oswalt ('Ratatouille', 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D'), Brian Posehn ('The Sarah Silverman Program', 'Mission Hill'), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Tales from the Borderlands), Scott Porter ('Friday Night Lights', 'X-Men') and many more.
Minecraft: Story Mode has been developed by Telltale Games who have previously created games such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands.
Minecraft: Story Mode will be rolling out on Android, Mac, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 AND Xbox One.
