4J Studios, developer of Minecraft on consoles has released information on the upcoming Minecraft for PS Vita, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for Minecraft on PS Vita, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and 4J Studio has said that it is still working on the title, improving it and fixing bugs. This is an indicator that the game might be coming out soon. It has been speculated for a September 2014 release.
This follows the delay that was caused after Minecraft for PlayStation 4 did not clear the final testing and was sent back after it was found to have bugs. Sony has a stringent certification process and if the game fails these tests, it goes back to developers who have to check for the anomalies or the bugs in the title.
"We have a bit more work to do on Minecraft PS Vita before we can hand it over to Sony," said 4J Studios. "Minecraft PS4 is back with Sony for final testing."
There has not been much information on the Xbox One version of the game, apart from some leaked images showing Minecraft running on Xbox One. 4J Studios took to Twitter to say, "Down to the last few bugs with Minecraft Xbox One, hoping to hand it over to Microsoft by the end of the week."
Meanwhile, 4J Studios has also said that it will be bringing a "small update" to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that will add the ability to upload saves to the upcoming consoles.
