The pranks of Dennis the Menace and his dog Gnasher will never end, and now it has been announced that they are both coming to Minecraft via official mod.
The new mod has already been released on Minecraft PC Edition, and it will allow players to play as Dennis. The mod was a collaborative move from the Beano publisher DC Thomson with the Canadian games developer, Frima Studios.
The publisher has also indicated that if the character of Dennis becomes popular among the Minecraft players, then it could result in releasing more such characters to the game.
Players will be able to summon Gnasher using a sausage when they use the skin of Dennis the Menace. Chasing Dennis' rival Walter is also part of the mod. If players install this mod, they will be able to utilise some pranking tools like stink bombs, catapults, rotten tomatoes and more.
"The Beano has always been about great storytelling, imagination and creativity. Minecraft is a perfect match for us, providing an amazing sandbox for kids to take our characters, tell their own stories, prank their friends and build out Beanotown. We'd love to expand the pranks and incorporate other Beano characters," said DC Thomson's Mark Cotton, The Guardian reported.
