Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are definitely going to have bad blood. The 22-year-old former Disney star had slammed Tay's "Bad Blood" video, saying it promoted violence. Now, DJ Calvin Harris' girlfriend has responded by accusing her of being 'desperate for attention'.
Cyrus, in an interview with Marie Claire recently, has dissed the star-studded "Bad Blood" video for its violent content. The "Wrecking Ball" singer, who is the host of the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, was comparing the rules for showing nudity and violence in videos.
"I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my t*****s out? I'm not sure how t*****s are worse than guns," she said.
It appears Miley's statement has not gone down well with Taylor. According to Hollywood Life, the "Shake it Off" singer has responded, saying Cyrus is just trying to seek attention.
"Saying things like this is so typical of Miley. She is desperate for attention and will do anything to get it. It must kill Miley that Taylor has gotten so much attention for "Bad Blood". In Taylor's mind, Miley is just being jealous. She wants the spotlight on her and taking shots at Taylor is a good way to do it," a source said.
We already know that all is not well between Swift and Katy Perry, and that the "Blank Space" singer had admitted the song "Bad Blood" was about a former friend.
Now, it looks Miley Cyrus is well on her way to be the subject of Taylor Swift's next song and video.
